Runway you cannot convert is not runway

Ramp will show you what the company spent, and its Stablecoin Accounts can hold digital dollars. It will not hold the quarter of the treasury that sits in a token in a founder's personal exchange account, priced at whatever a public order book gives you on the day payroll clears.

Anytime Capital makes that position first-class: held in the entity's name with statements to match, priced by a desk rather than a market order, and settled to the operating bank the same day by ACH, Fedwire or RTP. Going out, a distributed team is paid in minutes in stablecoins from the business wallet, from saved contact profiles rather than pasted addresses (local rails in 71+ countries).

The founder's personal exchange account is a diligence problem

It happens the same way every time. A customer pays in USDC, or an investor sends part of a SAFE on-chain, or the team decides to hold a treasury position — and there is no company account for it, so it lands in a founder's personal exchange login. It works fine until the next round, when a data room asks who owns the company's digital assets and the honest answer is a person, not the company.

Fixing it later is worse than setting it up right. Commingled assets create tax questions, cap-table questions, and a diligence thread nobody wants open during a raise. An account titled to the entity, with statements and settlement in the entity's name, closes that thread before it opens.

Runway, payouts, and the off-ramp that has to work on demand

A startup's crypto position is not a trade, it is runway. When payroll needs dollars, converting has to be quick and predictable: desk-quoted rates across 38+ assets, settled same-day to the operating bank by ACH, Fedwire or RTP, without a market order sliding through a thin book and taking a slice of the runway with it.

Going the other direction, distributed teams get paid in minutes rather than days, in USDC and USDT from the business wallet; local rails in 71+ countries for contractors who want their own currency. Recurring contractors are saved as named people with photos and whitelisted wallets, so paying the same eight people every month never means re-pasting an address.

Ramp automates the money going out

Ramp's automation around bills, receipts, approvals and vendor management is why finance teams adopt it, and it is genuinely good. The software has a free plan, and Plus costs $15 per user per month plus a platform fee based on team size. Ramp's banking services are provided by First Internet Bank of Indiana, with extra coverage through a deposit sweep.

Ramp says it pays to 185+ countries with free unlimited international wires on Ramp Banking (a partner page says 195), and charges $20 for SWIFT USD bill payments funded from an outside bank. It is built for established companies: Ramp's own comparison says you need at least $25,000 in a business bank account, and it does not serve sole proprietors.

On July 21, 2026, Ramp introduced Stablecoin Accounts. Companies can hold USDC and USDT on Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana and Tempo, convert to and from dollars with no fee, and use the balance to pay bills, card statements and reimbursements. Ramp offers rewards of up to 3.25%, which it says are not interest, for companies that deposit $5,000 in a month and make five qualifying payments. The accounts are not available in New York and are not FDIC insured.

That is a strong product for holding digital dollars against outgoing spend. Anytime Capital covers the other side as well: customers can pay you in USDC and USDT at checkout straight to your own business wallet, you can send them on to a supplier or contractor the same day or sell them for dollars, and the business crypto desk trades 38+ assets at desk-quoted rates.

The money coming in

We found no card-acquiring product at Ramp, so a company that sells pays a separate processor and waits on its payouts before Ramp can spend the money. Anytime Capital Payments takes cards and wallets at 2.75% + 30¢ (2.5% + 30¢ for your first 90 days) and pays out to your bank, instant where eligible.

Companies with heavy AP workflows often keep Ramp for approvals and procurement and use Anytime Capital for getting paid, stablecoins and crypto.

Should a startup keep Ramp and add Anytime Capital?

Often, yes. Ramp keeps doing cards, approvals and spend insight; Anytime Capital takes card payments, pays people abroad in stablecoins (local rails in 71+ countries) and handles treasury across 38+ assets. Replacing Ramp is rarely the goal, because it does a different job well.

How predictable is converting a treasury position to USD?

Larger conversions are desk-quoted rather than executed as market orders, so the price is agreed before the trade instead of discovered during it. Settlement to your bank is same-day by ACH, Fedwire or RTP.

Should we replace Brex or Mercury with Anytime Capital?

Not necessarily. Many startups keep the stack they already run for cards, expense policy and dollar banking, and add Anytime Capital for card payments, stablecoins and crypto.

How do we move assets out of a founder's personal account?

Open the business account in the entity's name, then transfer the assets in. Talk to your accountant about how to book the transfer — we are not able to give tax advice, but the account and its statements are structured so your CPA has what they need.

Will this hold up in diligence?

Accounts are titled to the entity, with statements and settlement to match, which is the substance of what diligence is checking. It is a considerably better answer than a screenshot of a founder's personal exchange balance.

Does Ramp support stablecoins?

Yes, since July 21, 2026.
