Shelf space is the scarcest thing you own. This needs none.

A liquor store already checks identification on every sale, runs heavily on cash and knows its regulars by name. Those are the exact three conditions a retail crypto counter needs, and it asks for nothing on your shelves.

Why the fit is better than owners expect

Liquor retail runs on inventory that is expensive to hold, heavily regulated and constantly competing for shelf space. Anything that adds revenue without adding stock is worth a serious look, and crypto adds none at all.

The operational fit is unusually clean. Your staff already ask every customer for identification, which is the one step other retailers find socially awkward. Your store already handles cash carefully. Your hours already extend into the evenings and weekends when retail crypto demand peaks.

And in most neighbourhoods a package store has a stable base of regulars who come in on the same day each week — which is the pattern that turns a one-time crypto buyer into a recurring one.

    Why it fits

    What makes liquor stores different

Every store type in this program runs the same platform. What changes is the customer, the ticket size and the objection — so this is the part written for you rather than for everybody.

    It costs no shelf space

In the one retail category where every linear foot is contested, this product takes none of it.

    ID is already a reflex

Your staff ask for identification on every sale. Asking again for a crypto order is not a new behaviour.

    Your hours match the demand

Evenings, Fridays and weekends are when retail crypto buying peaks and when your store is busiest.

    Regulars, by name

Repeat customers who are verified once and served weekly are where the revenue actually accumulates.

    Getting started

From first call to first order

    1. 1

      Talk to the retail team

Where the store is, what it already offers, and what your foot traffic looks like. We tell you straight away whether we can serve your market.

    2. 2

      Store due diligence

Entity documents, ownership and any licences your store already holds. Days, not months.

    3. 3

      Train the counter

One session per employee. No crypto knowledge required — the order screen is shorter than a money order form.

    4. 4

      Go live

Logins switched on, revenue share accruing on every order your staff place.

    The arithmetic

What a single transaction is worth to the store

You keep a share of every order. Bigger order, bigger share. The examples below use 1% to 3% — your own rate is in your agreement.

Illustrative store revenue by order size at a 1% to 3% revenue share
At the counterOrder sizeStore keeps (low)Store keeps (high)
A customer cashes a check and puts part of it into Bitcoin$200$2.00$6.00
A regular buys USDT to send to family overseas$500$5.00$15.00
A customer sells crypto and takes the cash$1,000$10.00$30.00
A small business owner buys on payday, every other week$2,500$25.00$75.00
One larger order, the kind an ATM's daily cap refuses$10,000$100.00$300.00

The figures above are worked examples, not projected or guaranteed earnings. They show how the arithmetic works on a given order size at an illustrative revenue-share range. Your actual rate is set in your agent agreement, and what any individual store earns depends on its foot traffic, its neighbourhood, its hours and how many customers it serves. Anytime Capital does not promise any level of income.

    • A money order earns you cents. A wire earns a flat fee, however big it is. This does not.
    • No monthly fee. No minimum. Nothing to buy back before the first dollar is yours.
    • Your customer pays our normal published price. Your share does not change it.

    Keeping the two products separate

One rule worth stating plainly to staff: a crypto order is its own transaction with its own identification and its own record. It is not a way to settle a tab, not a payment method for merchandise, and not something to bundle into another sale.

That separation protects the store. It is also how the platform works — every order stands alone, under a named employee login, against a verified customer.

The advice rule applies here as it does everywhere: staff serve the transaction, they do not tell customers what to buy.

Where the volume comes from in a package store

Almost entirely from regulars, and almost entirely in the evening. Liquor stores rarely see the payday-lump-sum customer that drives volume in a check casher; they see smaller, more frequent orders from people who are in the store anyway.

That makes consistency the whole game. A store that mentions the service to its regulars over a few weeks builds a base; a store that puts a sign up and waits generally does not.

Because there is no equipment to pay for and no monthly fee, the cost of that slow build is zero.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Does this affect my liquor licence?

It is a separate service and does not change the obligations attached to the licences your store already holds. What applies to your state and business type is confirmed during onboarding, and it is not legal advice.

Can customers pay for alcohol with crypto?

No. This program is for customers buying and selling crypto as its own transaction. Accepting crypto as payment for merchandise is a different product.

Will this slow my register down?

Returning customers take under a minute. First-time verifications take one to two and are best handled off to the side of the register, the way you would handle a lottery claim.

    Is there any equipment?

None. The platform runs in a browser on a device you already have.

Do I need a licence of my own?

Not to act as a serving location for Anytime Capital's platform. Anytime Capital is the registered money services business and carries the compliance programme for the activity. What applies to your specific store and state is confirmed during onboarding, and nothing here is legal advice.

How much does my store earn?

A share of each order, set in your agent agreement. Because crypto is priced as a percentage of the order rather than a flat fee, the revenue moves with the ticket. The earnings page works the arithmetic through at five order sizes.
