Block high-risk payments
Decline payments that score 90 or more, 75 or more (the default) or 60 or more on our fraud screening, before the card is charged.
Every card payment gets a 0–100 risk score before it's charged. Block high scores, cap the amount, block card countries and require 3D Secure above an amount — then refund pre-dispute alerts automatically and answer real disputes with the evidence already filled in. All included at 2.75% + 30¢.
The controls
Settings → Risk explains every control in plain words. There is no rule language to learn and nothing to install, and screening runs whether or not you change a thing.
Decline payments that score 90 or more, 75 or more (the default) or 60 or more on our fraud screening, before the card is charged.
Customers confirm larger payments with their card issuer. If a 3D Secure payment is later disputed as fraud, liability usually moves to the issuer.
Decline cards issued in up to 50 countries you choose, for when you only sell domestically or keep seeing fraud from one market.
Decline any card payment over a ceiling you set, so one stolen card can't be used for one very large order.
When a bank warns a dispute is coming, payments at or under your limit ($1 to $10,000) are refunded in full before it becomes a chargeback.
Refunds above an amount you choose wait for the owner to approve, and every refund records who asked, who approved and why.
When a dispute lands
Disputes sit on one page with the bank's reason explained, what evidence wins that reason, and a response form that starts from what we already know about the order.
Fraudulent, not received, not as described, duplicate: each comes with one sentence on what the bank is claiming and the evidence that answers it.
Product description, customer name and email, billing address, date and an order summary with the card's security checks are filled in for you.
Add delivery proof, messages with the customer, earlier undisputed orders, and your refund policy and terms, then submit from the dashboard.
Email alerts as a response deadline approaches, and dispute.opened and dispute.closed webhooks for your own systems.

How it works
There is no separate fraud product to buy or integrate. Screening runs on every card payment by default.
Every card payment is scored 0–100 before it's charged, whether or not you add rules.
Owners and admins set the high-risk block, 3D Secure amount, country blocks and maximum amount; changes are recorded in the activity log.
The owner picks the largest pre-dispute alert to refund automatically, and the refund size that needs their approval.
Read the reason, check the prefilled evidence, add documents and submit before the deadline.
Risk score on every card payment
Card-issuing countries you can block
Largest alert you can refund automatically
Extra for risk rules and dispute tools
Who uses it
The industries that lean on this the hardest, and what it looks like for them.
Every card payment is scored from 0 to 100 by our fraud screening before the card is charged. On top of that, Settings → Risk lets you block payments scoring 60, 75 or 90 and up, require 3D Secure above an amount, cap the amount of any one payment, and block cards issued in countries you choose.
3D Secure asks the cardholder to confirm a payment with their card issuer, usually in their banking app. If a 3D Secure payment is later disputed as fraud, liability usually shifts to the issuer. Require it above the amount where a fraudulent order would really hurt, so smaller orders go through with no extra step.
It's a warning from the customer's bank that a dispute is about to be filed. Refunding at that point normally stops the chargeback. Anytime Capital refunds alerts at or under a limit you set (up to $10,000) automatically; larger ones wait in Disputes for you to refund or dismiss.
Open the dispute in your dashboard's Disputes page. It explains the bank's reason, lists the evidence that answers it and prefills the response from the payment; add documents such as proof of delivery or messages with the customer, and submit before the deadline shown. Email alerts remind you as it approaches.
No. Risk scoring, risk rules, 3D Secure, pre-dispute alerts and the dispute tools are included in 2.75% + 30¢ per card payment, with no monthly fee. A dispute itself can carry a fee, which is shown in your dashboard. Businesses processing $1M+ a year also get a shared Slack channel with our payments and risk team.
They can if they're stricter than you need, so every rule is optional. Start with the default high-risk block (score 75 or more), and use 3D Secure rather than a hard maximum for large orders so genuine customers can still pay after confirming with their bank.
Yes. Choose up to 50 countries and cards issued there are declined before they're charged. The rule looks at where the card was issued, not where the customer happens to be browsing from.
Owners and admins can refund; members and viewers can't. Set a refund approval limit and refunds above it wait for the owner, and every refund records who requested it, who approved it and the reason in the activity log.
Anytime Capital is a fintech company, not a bank. Payment processing, banking and payout services are provided by our licensed partners, and the applicable disclosures for each product are shown at sign-up and in the site footer.
